Head of Digital
Ailis McKernan is Head of Digital for AMR.
Ailis’ digital experience comes from industry. At Tesco.com, as part of the Operations Development Team, her role was to understand how to improve the digital capabilities of the UK’s largest grocer.
Following that she spent four years with Nectar, the largest loyalty company in the UK. At Nectar, Ailis led a £20m digital transformation using technology to modernise the business and create better, more personalised relationships between partners and the scheme’s 19m members. She then ran the affiliate marketing business, e-Shops, before taking on the role of Strategy and Product Director as part of the company’s Senior Leadership Team. Prior to industry, she worked in consulting for four years.
At AMR, projects have included advising a £5bn global e-commerce company on how to redefine its digital approach to customers, to drive loyalty and cross-usage within the American market; and working with one of the world’s largest event companies to identify post-merger digital synergies.
Ailis holds a degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University. She also studied Design Thinking at Stanford University.
