AMR International supports The Riverside Company to back Sage Holdings in its acquisition of M:Communications and D.F. King
M:Communications is a global corporate communications and financial public relations consulting firm and D.F. King is a leading global proxy solicitation provider. Between them they have over 800 clients in more than 30 countries.
AMR International supported The Riverside Company by initially validating the concept of creating a global financial communications platform through acquisition. Following on from this initial strategic assessment, AMR conducted commercial due diligence on the two foundation acquisitions for this platform M:Communications and D.F. King. In each case, AMR conducted extensive, in-depth qualitative interviews across the US and Europe with current, prospective and former clients of these businesses and for this platform. Based on the results, we were able to ascertain that customers valued the potential synergies the global platform offers and determine that both businesses were excellent fits for the platform with strong customer relationships and opportunities to capitalise on growth through cross-selling.
Following AMR’s work, The Riverside Company, along with other investors, backed Sage Holdings in the acquisition of M:Communications and D.F. King & Co., Inc.
