AMR International supports Incisive Media's $630m acquisition of ALM

ALM is a leading integrated media company serving the US legal community and its suppliers. It also serves the real estate markets. ALM owns and publishes 33 national and regional magazines and newspapers; it is also one of North America’s largest conference producers.

AMR International supported Incisive Media with commercial due diligence on the transaction. AMR’s research, which included over 200 interviews with advertisers and subscribers, concluded that ALM has a strong business model and operates in an attractive market that is experiencing steady growth. The fit with Incisive is clear and there are opportunities for the combined businesses to grow profitably.

Following AMR’s recommendations, Incisive Media, supported by Apax Partners acquired ALM for $630m (US).
