AMR International supports CMPMedica, a division of United Business Media (UBM), with commercial due diligence

Iasist is the leading provider of benchmarking data and software to regional health authorities and hospitals within Spain and Portugal. The company provides customers with the tools to monitor hospital performance by capturing clinical outcomes from 180 hospitals in a proprietary database and providing clear performance analysis.
AMR supported CMPMedica, a division of United Business Media (UBM), with commercial due diligence on the transaction. The key issue to be assessed was the near and long term growth potential of the business. It was clear that hospital and local government budgets were likely to be tighter in the short run given the sharp slowdown in overall healthcare expenditure. AMR conducted an intensive interview programme to understand likely customer renewal behaviour and opportunities to win new customers and up-sell to existing customers.
Following AMR’s analysis and input UBM proceeded with the investment.
