Oliver Runkel is a director of AMR International and is responsible for business in the German-speaking countries. He has over 15 years of experience in commercial due diligence, strategy consulting and general management and broad sector experience focusing on engineering, industrial products, and IT and technology.
Oliver has supported PE investors with strategic due diligence on more than 100 transactions. He worked with many corporate customers on strategy projects, e.g. development of growth strategies or strategic repositioning of companies, as well as on more operational assignments, e.g. optimisation of processes and organizational design.
Before joining AMR in 2004 Oliver worked for both an international and a medium-sized management consultancy. As an army officer he gained experience in general management, training and HR.
Oliver studied Economics at the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg and has an MBA from the University of Bradford Management Centre / TiasNimbas Business School. Oliver is a native German speaker, fluent in English and speaks good French.
